Pennsylvania Variegated stone is a layered sandstone found in the northern tier of the Southern Tier of New York and Pennsylvania. Pennsylvania Variegated on Pallets is roughly 2″ – 3″ thick, and coverage is about 80 square feet per ton but is sold by the pallet. Variegated Bluestone contains a mixture of colors that create its own unique style where ever it’s laid. Though known for its blue hue, it can come in other colors, such as green, lilac, and brown. The thermal surface is created by flaming, leaving a flat, consistent bubbled surface as shown to the left.
